Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in using scheduling and payment processing software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and friendly attitude
  • Passion for working with animals

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred (hospitality, veterinary, or pet care experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy (comfortable with scheduling systems, email, and payment processing)

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and pets with professionalism and warmth upon arrival
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and courteously
  • Schedule daycare, boarding, and grooming appointments using our reservation system (training provided)
  • Check pets in and out, ensuring accurate records of feeding, medications, and special care needs
  • Process payments and manage client accounts
  • Provide clear communication to pet owners regarding policies, updates, and services
  • Support smooth front desk operations, including filing, data entry, and light cleaning/organization of the lobby
  • Collaborate with pet care staff to ensure exceptional client and pet experiences
