Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant industry experience
- Demonstrable experience with large, multi-phased commercial projects
- Strong product knowledge in systems furniture and ancillary products
- Experience with Steelcase products and pricing preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform site visits and measurements
- Proficiency in managing project schedules and budgets
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Passion for customer service and client satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience in commercial furniture dealership, project management firm, corporate real estate or facilities management
- Experience working on large, multi-phased projects with multi-office or campus settings
- Strong product knowledge of systems furniture and ancillary products
- Familiarity with Steelcase products, pricing and discounting
- Ability to read and understand floor plans
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
- Excellent problem-solving and client management skills
- Knowledge of InDesign, CAD, Smartsheet, project management software and Photoshop preferred
Job Duties
- Exhibit a work style that is high energy, influential and leads to winning new business opportunities
- Lead and support bid opportunities for sales management
- Conduct early project meetings to understand client needs, budget and time constraints
- Conduct research to drive sales through product and technical knowledge
- Influence product selection and service solutions to meet or exceed client expectations
- Conduct site visits, field measurements and collaborate with design team for site assessment
- Manage project schedule and budget, coordinate with internal and external teams
- Produce final client presentations including look books, budgets, validation packages, and installation packs
- Participate actively in internal meetings and team building events
