The role of Client Experience Concierge at Arista Veterinary Hospital is central to enhancing the overall client and pet experience during visits. This position serves as the friendly and professional point of contact for clients whenever they are present at the hospital, whether during appointments, drop-off, pick-up, or visitation times. The Client Experience Concierge is responsible for creating a positive atmosphere in the hospital lobby, exam room areas, and visitation spaces. This involves maintaining a clean, comfortable setting and ensuring that every client interaction is handled with care and professionalism. Working closely with the Care Navigation Team, the Concierge helps streamline the client journey, facilitating smooth communication and efficient information flow between clients and hospital staff. The role demands excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to customer service and high-quality care.

Job Qualifications

  • Comfort in hospital clinical environment required
  • Experience in veterinary general practice and specialty/ER veterinary medicine preferred
  • Customer service experience required
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy times
  • Ability to kindly and compassionately communicate with clients during times of stress and to defuse tension by seeking appropriate support as needed
  • Clear and friendly communication skills for direct, telephone, and texting with veterinary clinical staff

Job Duties

  • Focus on the guest experience for each client during any times that they are present in the hospital lobby, exam room area or visiting their hospitalized pet
  • Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well organized and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
  • Facilitate hospital teams ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
  • Be the friendly and professional face of the Arista hospital
  • Maintain clean and comfortable lobby and exam room environment
