This opportunity offers a full-time Client Concierge position within the Healthcare Practice Team, providing a customer- and team member-centric workplace that emphasizes collaboration, communication, and compassionate care.The Client Concierge will take part in a practice designed by veterinarians to ensure the best medicine and care are delivered to pets. This role involves being the primary client-facing team member responsible for all patient intakes and interactions with pet parents. The position requires strong social skills to engage with clients empathetically and efficiently. The Concierge will support veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, and the practice manager by providing stellar service and facilitating smooth operations of the practice. This includes using the Practice Information Management System (PIMS), adhering to Standards of Care and Standard Operating Procedures, and responsibly handling pharmacy holdings. The role is also integral in communicating inventory needs and maintaining clean, organized workspaces after every patient interaction. Candidates will receive competitive hourly wages ranging between $14.18 and $21.39, influenced by experience, education, and location. Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in customer-focused roles, veterinary preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion towards clients and pets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
- Willingness to work weekends and travel occasionally
- Physical ability to stand or walk up to 80% of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds with team lift
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, squatting, and kneeling
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer-focused work experience, preferably in veterinary settings
- Strong ability to connect with clients and show empathy and compassion
- Excellent social, verbal, written communication, observational, and analytical skills
- Passionate about helping pets and people with excellent customer service focus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
Job Duties
- Embody the Chewy Vet Care culture by working collaboratively and delivering an excellent pet parent experience
- Handle all patient intakes and client-facing interactions
- Apply customer service skills to assist pet parents with medical care and issue resolution
- Use Practice Information Management System (PIMS) proficiently
- Follow practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC)
