Job Qualifications
- Experience using computers and software for data entry, email communication and scheduling
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) is a plus
- experience with cash handling, point-of-sale systems and basic office equipment
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for customer service
- ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
- strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and communicating potential issues

- flexibility to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts including summer hours
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and members, responding to inquiries via phone, email and in person
- operate a multi-line phone system to provide information about Aquarium events, programs and services
- operate a two-way radio to coordinate with internal staff
- schedule and process group reservations for Aquarium visits, tours, boat trips, educational programs and room bookings
- perform cashiering duties at the admissions desk on a rotating basis, including ticket sales, payment processing, balancing cash drawers and preparing deposits
- lead, support and help train part-time admissions and lobby staff
- perform data entry, maintain membership database and accurate records
- run reports and track attendance and sales data
- resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- perform other duties as assigned to support the Guest Services team
