Their team is dedicated to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a welcoming environment for all individuals who enter the establishment. Located in an accessible area, the facility values integrity, respect, and excellence in service delivery, aiming to meet the evolving needs of its patients and the surrounding community. The organization employs skilled professionals who are trained to handle various administrative and office-related tasks to contribute to overall operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

The position available is for a Front Office Receptionist, a pivotal non-licensed role specifically designed for individuals who have completed an on-the-job training program. This receptionist position is essential for managing the front desk activities and performing office-related duties that support the healthcare professionals and patient flow. The Receptionist is responsible for handling a variety of administrative functions including coordinating and scheduling patient appointments, maintaining accurate patient medical records, processing daily patient charges, and assisting with deposit management. This role requires close collaboration with the Office Manager and Clinical Director to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively and confidentially.

The Receptionist is expected to demonstrate exceptional judgment, common sense, and the ability to work under pressure, ensuring that the facility’s operations continue seamlessly. A key part of the job includes managing sensitive information such as patient medical records with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. The ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients of all ages is imperative. Additional responsibilities include processing insurance verifications, particularly for Medicare and worker’s compensation claims, managing patient copayments and deductibles, and handling dictations related to patient care. Moreover, the Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for patients, answering phones promptly and courteously, scheduling new patient appointments within 24 to 48 hours, and verifying insurance and referral information as required. They also greet patients upon arrival, assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure accurate documentation of patient visits and payments. This multifaceted role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic career within the healthcare administration field.
