Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- six months previous cleaning experience preferred
- ability to follow verbal and written directions
- knowledge of housekeeping cleaning practices preferred
- basic written and verbal communication skills preferred
- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force
- ability to perform physical activities including carrying, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and walking
- adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
- willingness to work Monday through Friday 3pm to 11:30pm with every other weekend and holiday
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cleans and services assigned areas of the facility in a timely manner using established procedures
- maintains and operates cleaning equipment such as carts, buckets, vacuums, buffers, and extractors safely
- mixes and uses cleaning chemicals and products according to manufacturer’s directions and department procedures
- sorts and places clean linen into appropriate shelves and exchange carts
- stocks linen supply to patient care areas to maintain par levels
- performs daily cleaning of the linen storage and distribution area
- reports any problems, deficiencies, or equipment issues to team leader or supervisor
