Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- General understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to communicate positively with potential members, current members, club guests, and all FITWORKS team members
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to be trained on all FITWORKS systems and processes
- Desire to achieve set goals and metrics in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and team
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Willingness to undergo training on FITWORKS systems and processes
Job Duties
- Maintain outdoor entrance area
- Vacuum, mop, and clean windows
- Wipe down sinks and counters in locker rooms
- Clean mirrors in locker rooms and weight room
- Mop urinal and stall areas
- Wipe and close all lockers
- Vacuum carpets
- Remove dumbbells from racks and clean dust/dirt
- Wipe down free-weight benches and frames
- Dust tops of doorway frames
- Wipe down hand sanitizer holders and paper towel dispensers
- Wipe down decks of cardio equipment such as treadmills and bikes
- Vacuum under treadmills and throughout the cardio area
- Dust and mop group fitness studio floors
- Clean windows and storage areas in group fitness studios
- Refill paper towel dispensers and disinfectant bottles
- Replace broken triggers
- Clean storage/mop rooms
- Report and log any broken equipment
- Report and log facility issues such as chipped paint or blown bulbs
