Job Description

ProDrivers is a reputable transportation company committed to providing stable, respectful, and safe working environments for its employees, particularly truck drivers in the Garden Grove and Santa Ana, California areas. Known for its dedication to the well-being of its workforce, ProDrivers emphasizes fair pay, safety, and a positive workplace culture where "People Matter." The company is currently seeking Class B CDL Drivers for local delivery routes with an appealing work schedule of Monday through Friday, no overnight travel, and guaranteed weekends off. Drivers enjoy the benefit of being paid every Friday, which underscores the company's reliability and respect for its employees' financial needs. Established as a leader in the logistics industry, ProDrivers operates with a focus on both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. The company’s strategic location in California places it within easy reach of major food distribution networks, facilitating an effective role in food logistics and community resource support.

This particular position involves operating 24-foot box trucks, handling freight consisting of food products or miscellaneous items, and requires physical ability to assist with offloading using lift gates and pallet jacks while lifting weights up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. The prescribed work hours are from 6 am to 4 pm, which allow drivers to maintain a work-life balance without the need for overnight travel. The wage range for this position is competitive, between $23 and $25 per hour depending on the location, with additional overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate after 8 hours, and double time after 12 hours. Such compensation details highlight the company’s commitment to valuing its drivers' time and effort.

In addition to driving duties, this role involves essential interactions with various stakeholders such as food donors at pick-up sites, partner agencies, volunteers, donors, and participants. Drivers are not just transporters but are instrumental in ensuring food safety and compliance by properly packaging, labeling, sorting, and shelving food products according to health codes and department procedures. They also support the direct distribution of food boxes to low-income participants across Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties, demonstrating ProDrivers’ engagement in meaningful community support activities.

The role also requires some proficiency in forklift operation and other power or manual equipment to move heavy objects, contributing to the safe and efficient handling of goods. Furthermore, drivers assist in maintenance responsibilities, including the cleaning of vehicles, warehouses, coolers, freezers, and general housekeeping to ensure a hygienic environment in accordance with food safety standards.

Overall, ProDrivers offers an opportunity to join a company that values stability, respect, and fairness, empowering employees with reliable income, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment where their contributions have a real impact. For drivers with recent experience in the box truck delivery sector, holding either a Class A or B California driver's license and the necessary medical certifications, this is an ideal role to advance their careers with an employer who genuinely prioritizes their welfare.
