Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-B license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle record for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Possess or obtain valid DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases weighing up to approximately 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-B license
- Age 21 or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have current valid DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate
- Physically able to handle freight between 10 and 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor, truck and trailer
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and check customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to route schedule
- Unload products and transport items to customer storage
- Perform damage control checks and contact supervisor when necessary
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures
- Collect payment where required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete paperwork
- Complete daily hours of service records and logs
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock
- Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
