Serving a diverse customer base that includes independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries, Performance Foodservice excels in building strong, enduring relationships through a team of experts comprising sales representatives, chefs, consultants, and other professionals. Together, these teams provide tailored advice on menu development, product selection, operational strategies, and overall restaurant improvement, helping clients achieve their culinary and business goals. The company’s commitment to not only supplying delicious food but also fostering success among independent restaurant owners makes it a standout leader in the food distribution industry.

For the role of CDL-B Driver, Performance Foodservice is looking for dependable and safety-conscious individuals committed to supporting America's essential food distribution system. This position offers a competitive pay structure starting at $210 per day or more, depending on route components, and includes a significant $4,000 sign-on bonus. The role involves a 5-day workweek with dispatching occurring primarily between midnight and 6 a.m. Drivers in this crucial position will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes including intrastate, interstate, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments. Drivers must also complete daily logs in compliance with federal and state regulations and maintain order and cleanliness in their vehicles and work areas.

This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a team-oriented environment, have a clean driving record, and are physically capable of handling freight up to approximately 60 to 90 pounds. The company champions a safe and inclusive work culture marked by respect, rewards, recognition, and opportunities for professional growth. Benefits include day-one health and wellness options, an employee stock purchase plan, employer-matched 401(k), education assistance, and paid time off.
