An appealing $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates, aiming to attract experienced, safety-conscious professional drivers.

The Class B Delivery Driver plays a vital role in America’s food supply chain. The role demands adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, the completion of safety inspections, accurate paperwork management related to freight, and secure handling of freight and equipment.

Key responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, reporting safety issues promptly, adhering to DOT and company driving policies, verifying freight count and documentation, efficiently transporting and unloading products at customer locations, managing customer interactions including obtaining signatures and handling payments, and maintaining the cleanliness and security of trucking equipment and trailers. The driver also undertakes housekeeping tasks, complies with hours-of-service regulations, and supports team efforts to deliver goods seamlessly across the distribution network.

Performance Foodservice prioritizes employee safety, inclusivity, and professional growth. The company offers competitive wages alongside comprehensive benefits starting day one of employment. Benefits include health and wellness programs, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, employer-matched 401(k) retirement savings, education assistance, paid time off, and more.
