Job Description

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is a leading transportation and logistics company dedicated to delivering exceptional freight services throughout the Western and Central United States. With a strong commitment to quality service and on-time delivery, CCFS integrates the latest technologies to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction. The company fosters a mission centered on achieving universal prosperity with its customers, employees, and communities, making it a rewarding environment for team members who take pride in their work and aspire to grow professionally.

CCFS operates with a customer-first approach, emphasizing safety and efficiency in all aspects of its business. Their fleet and logistics systems are designed to optimize route management and freight handling, ensuring that shipments arrive on schedule and in excellent condition. Recognized for its supportive team culture and progressive employment practices, CCFS provides drivers with the resources and training necessary to succeed in a demanding industry.

The Class A Route Delivery Driver role at CCFS, based in Lubbock, TX, is a non-exempt position offering a competitive hourly wage of $30. This position is integral to the company’s operations, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to various customer locations. The role involves operating a company motor vehicle on established routes, managing freight handling tasks, and completing all requisite documentation in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. The schedule is designed for consistency, with a Monday through Friday workweek starting at 6 am, providing employees predictable hours and work-life balance.

Successful candidates will bring a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset, ensuring that each delivery reflects CCFS’s high standards. Beyond driving, the position requires physical involvement in loading, unloading, sorting, and palletizing freight. Drivers may use mechanical aids or perform these tasks manually, depending on the freight type and delivery circumstances. This makes the role both physically active and mentally engaging, suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and the responsibility of representing the company directly to customers.

The Class A Route Delivery Driver also plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle safety and operational standards by conducting mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with dispatch and supervisors are key components of this role. Additionally, the driver must ensure all shipping documents are accurate and accessible, supporting inspection requirements and seamless delivery processes.

Overall, this position offers an excellent opportunity for drivers looking to join a dynamic and growing company where their contributions are valued and rewarded. CCFS supports professional development and encourages obtaining necessary endorsements such as Hazmat and Tanker, providing reimbursement for renewals. This commitment to employee growth, combined with comprehensive benefits and a positive work environment, makes CrossCountry Freight Solutions an attractive employer in the logistics industry.
