Job Description

Pipeline Carriers, Inc is a reputable transportation company specializing in the safe and efficient delivery of heavy materials primarily to construction sites. Based in Conroe, Texas, this company plays a critical role in supporting the infrastructure and construction industry by providing reliable trucking services focused on carrying reinforced concrete pipes, raw materials, and other heavy products. With an emphasis on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction, Pipeline Carriers, Inc has built a strong reputation in regional freight transportation, offering opportunities for dedicated truck drivers seeking stability and career growth. This company prides itself on maintaining high standards for its fleet operations while also investing in employee development and well-being through comprehensive benefits and incentive programs.

They are currently seeking experienced Truck Drivers with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join their team. This is a full-time position with local routes, meaning drivers go home every night, which is particularly appealing for candidates seeking work-life balance. The scheduled shifts are from Monday through Friday with possible start times as early as 4 am and end times as late as 6 pm, though hours may vary based on delivery schedules, and some weekend flexibility is required. This role offers competitive compensation starting at $62,000 annually with potential earnings upwards of $72,000 or more depending on route assignments, hours worked, and performance incentives.

The core responsibility of this role is to safely transport heavy loads, including reinforced concrete pipes and other products, using tractor-trailers capable of carrying at least 80,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. Drivers will deliver primarily to construction sites, ensuring timely and secure cargo handling while adhering to all applicable transportation laws and safety regulations. Duties also include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads with chains and binders, maintaining paperwork such as invoices and bills of lading, as well as routine vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues. Drivers are expected to keep their trucks clean and in optimal operating condition while maintaining accurate electronic logs of their activities.

Pipeline Carriers, Inc provides a safe and supportive work environment although drivers should be prepared to work in conditions exposed to noise, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting products up to 75 pounds, as well as climbing in and out of the truck cab regularly. The company encourages safety and compliance with DOT regulations and mandates passing a background check and drug screening in line with federal transportation rules.

Aside from competitive pay, employees benefit from an attractive package that includes top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and supplemental life coverage, a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, a referral bonus program, and ongoing training and development opportunities. Pipeline Carriers, Inc is committed to equal employment opportunities and embraces diversity and inclusion in their workplace. The trucking team plays an essential role in the company’s mission to provide superior freight delivery services with commitment and professionalism.
