Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1+ years tractor-trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass road test
- Attains or has valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move and stack products
- Physical ability to lift products ranging from 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 60-90 pounds occasionally

- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheeler, lift gate to move and stack product cases
- Physical capability to handle product cases generally between 10-35 pounds and occasionally up to 60-90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor-truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Inspect tractor-truck and trailer to ensure compliance with company safety standards and report necessary repairs
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices for loaded products
- Move tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- Drive to and deliver customer orders following predetermined route delivery schedules
- unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan and contact supervisor regarding removal of orders according to company policy
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money where required
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, bring to driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork
- Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter logs in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company regulations
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required
- Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at end of shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
