Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- One year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Must be insurable to operate company vehicle
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with hand cart
- Ability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations and food safety standards
- Ability to safely operate 3 axle tractor, 45-48 foot trailer, straight truck, on-board computer and key pad
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted
- At least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of DOT and Hazmat regulations
- Ability to operate tractor-trailer safely in varied conditions
- Skill in problem-solving and customer communication
- Ability to perform basic math functions related to job
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart according to customer and company specifications
- Complete all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, pre- and post-trip reports accurately and timely
- Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard
- Develop good relationships with customers through excellent and courteous service
- Deliver and load products in accordance with safety and company standards
- Comply with company and governmental regulations during delivery operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
