Job Description

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is a prominent leader in the convenience retail industry and is part of a Fortune 150 company boasting over $23 billion in annual revenue. With an expansive network of distribution centers spread across the U.S. and Canada, Core-Mark delivers fresh and broad-line solutions that empower customers, employees, and communities. Core-Mark’s commitment to excellence has set it apart as a trusted partner in the foodservice and retail sectors. Fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, the company prioritizes employee growth, recognition, and wellness.

Core-Mark is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Delivery Drivers to join their essential team. Drivers work local routes starting early in the morning and return home daily, ensuring a balanced work-life routine.

Core-Mark’s Driver role demands adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including rigorous vehicle inspections and safety checks. Drivers handle loading and unloading responsibilities, conduct damage inspections, complete all necessary paperwork, and maintain clear communication with customers and dispatch. They must manage freight securely, accurately document hours of service, and contribute to general housekeeping tasks to maintain equipment and work area cleanliness. This position is vital to maintaining Core-Mark’s reputation for reliability and efficiency in product delivery.

Candidates applying for this position must have a valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record spanning the past three years, and successfully pass road, drug, and background checks. The ability to secure or have a current DOT Health Card is required, along with the physical capability to handle freight weighing up to 90 pounds using equipment such as lift gates and two-wheelers. Preferred candidates will have prior experience in foodservice distribution, familiarity with onboard computers, electronic logging devices, and handheld point-of-delivery scanning systems, as well as a strong customer service background.

Joining Core-Mark means becoming part of a robust and expanding organization that values inclusivity and equal opportunity hiring practices, treats employees with respect, and supports career advancement. Drivers not only contribute to the delivery of essential goods but also play a vital role in maintaining the infrastructure that supports America’s food distribution system. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online through www.pfgc.com/Careers to embark on a rewarding career in logistics and transportation with Core-Mark.
