The role of the Food and Food Service Delivery Driver at Core-Mark is pivotal to the nation’s food distribution system. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid CDL-A license
- minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- must be at least 21 years old
- meet state licensing and certification requirements
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- current or ability to obtain DOT health card
- ability to hand-lift and handle equipment to move freight ranging from 10 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid CDL-A license
- minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- ability to pass road test
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years

- ability to hand-lift products weighing between 10 and 90 pounds
- customer service experience preferred
- experience with onboard computer and electronic log systems preferred
- experience with handheld scanning devices preferred
Job Duties
- perform safety inspections of tractor and trailer following DOT regulations
- drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on various routes including local, interstate, and overnight
- communicate professionally with customers and co-workers answering questions timely
- load and unload freight and ensure products are delivered in good condition
- complete accurate paperwork including delivery receipts and driver logs
- secure tractor, trailer, and freight at all times
- perform housekeeping duties in trailer and loading dock area
