Known for fostering a safe, inclusive working environment, Core-Mark commits to a culture of rewards, recognition, and respect, making it an outstanding place for career growth and development.

This particular opportunity involves the role of a Delivery Driver – Hourly, a pivotal position integral to maintaining the country’s food supply chain. Delivery drivers are essential in ensuring that food and related products reach customers promptly and safely, supporting the company’s mission to deliver quality goods reliably. As the face of Core-Mark to customers, drivers build and maintain strong relationships, representing the company’s values and reinforcing its commitment to service excellence.

The Delivery Driver role is designed for those seeking a local, dedicated route with a consistent schedule and the benefit of a 4-day work week (Tuesday through Friday), starting early at 4:30 a.m. Drivers will enjoy a competitive salary range of $69,000 to $75,000 annually, incorporating base pay, component pay, and overtime. This role is home daily, eliminating the need for extended overnight stays, thereby supporting a healthy work-life balance. Drivers operate tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including over-the-road and shuttle runs, to deliver and unload food products efficiently and compliantly according to Department of Transportation regulations.

The position demands a high level of professionalism in communication and customer interaction, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries from customers, vendors, and colleagues. Safety is paramount, with drivers responsible for conducting thorough inspections of their vehicles before and after trips, adhering strictly to DOT guidelines, and maintaining all required documentation. Duties also encompass loading and unloading freight, managing product integrity through damage control inspections, verifying deliveries with proper signatures, and securing all cargo.

Core-Mark offers a comprehensive benefits package starting from day one, including health and wellness benefits, employee stock purchase plans, 401K employer matching, education assistance, paid time off, and much more.
