The role offered is an entry-level driver trainee position, specifically designed to introduce and develop the skills necessary for safely and efficiently operating tractor trailers or straight trucks within intrastate and interstate routes. This position involves delivering a variety of food and food-related products to a broad customer base including local, shuttle, and overnight routes. Offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, this full-time role involves a 4 to 5-day work week with required availability from Monday through Saturday. The trainee will participate in the comprehensive PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program, designed to impart the core competencies in vehicle operation, safety inspections, route execution, and customer service. Responsibilities include assisting and learning alongside a driver trainer, performing safety and equipment inspections, assisting with loading and unloading freight, and ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
