The Driver's primary responsibilities include conducting thorough safety inspections on tractors, trucks, and trailers; reporting maintenance issues; following DOT and company policies for safe driving and freight handling; verifying and documenting product loads; operating trailers and tractors to ensure proper loading and unloading at customer locations; and maintaining comprehensive delivery paperwork. Drivers must also engage regularly with customers, providing accurate information and friendly service, handling deliveries and returns, performing damage control on freight, and completing daily logs in compliance with federal and state regulations.
