Drivers perform damage control on goods, communicate with supervisors about order discrepancies, collect payments when necessary, and properly secure trailers and equipment at the end of shifts. Maintaining accurate logs of hours of service and compliance with federal DOT, state, and company requirements is essential, as is keeping truck and trailer areas clean and free of hazards. Overall, this role supports the seamless functioning of the supply chain by combining technical skills with customer-focused service in a safety-conscious and team-oriented environment.
