Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL A
- Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment for moving product cases
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) A
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases of varying sizes and weights
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer
- Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and complete accurate paperwork
- Drive to and deliver customer orders following predetermined route schedules
- Unload products, verify delivery with customers, collect payments when required, and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete related paperwork
- Complete daily record of hours of service in accordance with DOT requirements
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
- Perform other duties as assigned
