Job Description

Tri-National, Inc. is a leading door-to-door transportation service provider specializing in moving freight across the Midwest. The company facilitates freight movement from Mexico through southwest Texas, extending into Detroit and Canada. Recognized for its commitment to safety, excellent service, and driver satisfaction, Tri-National has built a strong reputation within the trucking industry. The company emphasizes driver well-being and offers top pay along with family benefits, setting it apart as an employer of choice. Notably, Tri-National has earned accolades for being a top company for women in transportation for eight consecutive years, reflecting its dedication to diversity and inclusion within the industry.

This opening is for Class A CDL solo and team over-the-road (OTR) drivers, a critical role in maintaining the company’s logistics excellence. The position offers full-time employment with a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential earnings of up to $1,800 weekly. Drivers benefit from newer fleet trucks, specifically 2021 to 2025 Volvo models, equipped with the latest safety features, comfort amenities such as refrigerators and inverters, and advanced tracking systems like Omnitracs and E-Logs. The company operates repetitive lane routes focused centrally within the Midwest and avoids East Coast and West Coast travel, giving drivers more consistency and home time.

The role involves transporting freight utilizing 53' dry van trailers, with 90% of the freight being no-touch, drop and hook type loads, simplifying driver workload and improving efficiency. Drivers are paid for practical miles, covered for paid loaded and empty miles, and receive payment for tolls and scales. Payments are processed weekly via direct deposit. Tri-National supports drivers with 24/7 dispatch and dedicated teams to ensure smooth operations and fast issue resolution.

In addition to the attractive pay structure, drivers are offered substantial sign-on bonuses: $5,000 for solo drivers and $12,500 for team drivers. Monthly safety bonuses and a driver referral program with up to a $3,500 bonus per driver referred further enhance the overall compensation package. Tri-National also provides unlimited home time, recognized as the most generous in the industry, allowing drivers to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Employee health and wellness are prioritized with comprehensive benefits including family health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, and yearly paid vacations. The company also offers a paid orientation program, paid time off, and a passenger ride-along program for an enhanced work experience.

Tri-National encourages individuals with a criminal record to apply, demonstrating its inclusive hiring practices. Overall, this role offers professional drivers a supported, rewarding, and well-compensated career opportunity in a respected company known for its safety, culture, and commitment to driver satisfaction. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or contact Tri-National’s recruiting team directly for more information.
