They employ thousands of associates nationwide and offer comprehensive training programs along with a strong safety culture to ensure both employee success and customer satisfaction. The company prides itself on its leadership in the foodservice industry and provides numerous opportunities for career advancement to dedicated individuals seeking stability and growth.

This employment opportunity offers full-time status with benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off, among others.

In this role, drivers operate trucks to deliver food products to customers on scheduled routes, ensuring accuracy in inventory and customer signatures. Drivers must be able to unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks or manually place items in designated locations while adhering to all safety policies. Customer service is a vital part of this job, as drivers represent US Foods to their clients and are often the face of the company during deliveries. They perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their vehicles to ensure operational functionality and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Physical fitness is necessary to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds on a regular basis during shifts. Drivers must be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions and make frequent stops throughout their route.

Successful candidates will have a valid CDL Class A license and a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry. They must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse and comply with DOT drug and alcohol program guidelines. The ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently is essential for safe communication and accurate completion of reports. Knowledge of operating a manual transmission is preferred, and some locations may require this skill.
