Job Description
We are a specialized cryogenic carrier dedicated to providing consistent and reliable transportation services across the continental United States. Our company is known for focusing on cryogenic transport, a critical and highly specialized field that involves hauling materials that require extremely low temperatures to remain stable and safe. As a niche leader in cryogenic transportation, we pride ourselves on offering a unique employment experience to professional CDL-A drivers who seek structured schedules, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. Our dedication to safety, employee well-being, and customer satisfaction sets us apart in the trucking industry.
This position is a CDL-A Driver role focused on dedicated regional projects that typically last between one to six months. The nature of the job provides a structured 21-day on-the-road and 7-day at-home rotation, giving drivers predictable home time and the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our drivers primarily operate brand-new Peterbilt 579 trucks, assigned exclusively to each driver to ensure familiarity, safety, and comfort throughout their routes. The routes cover all 48 continental states, taking drivers to diverse locations with the assurance that deadhead miles between projects are compensated, ensuring steady earnings without downtime.
The pay structure is highly competitive, offering a starting daily rate along with reset day pay, resulting in an attractive first-year earning potential between $85,000 and $100,000. Pay increases occur every six months, rewarding tenure and experience, while certified cryogenic trainers receive additional bonuses. The company supports drivers with an exceptional benefits package that includes affordable health insurance, 401(k) matches, paid life insurance, paid holidays after probation, and paid time off, demonstrating our commitment to employee welfare.
Training is an integral part of this role, beginning with a two-week paid shadow training program. During this period, new hires shadow experienced trainers before transitioning to driving independently, with compensation provided for training days and a bonus after the initial load delivery. This thorough onboarding process ensures that all drivers are fully prepared, confident, and supported in performing their specialized duties.
This role requires CDL-A holders with current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a minimum age of 23, and recent OTR or regional driving experience. Strict safety and compliance standards are enforced, including passing a hair follicle drug test and road test, maintaining a clean driving record, and meeting residency requirements. The company excludes applicants from California due to regulatory reasons. Candidates must be committed to traveling across continental states and be willing to fly as part of the rotation process.
Overall, this CDL-A Driver position within our cryogenic carrier promises stability, excellent remuneration, and a supportive work environment tailored to professional drivers committed to safety and quality service. If you value a predictable schedule, top-tier pay, and a comprehensive benefits program, this opportunity is designed specifically for you.
