Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid California Food Handler certification required before first day
  • Previous bartender experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Process guests' food and beverage orders with urgency and upsell products
  • Pour wine and serve draft and bottled beer
  • mix drinks and beverages to recipe
  • Check guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Operate cash registers, collect payments, and return change
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and point-of-sale system protocols
  • Organize and clean bar, tables, and service areas
  • Complete opening, running, and closing duties as assigned
  • Manage bar operations, ordering and maintaining liquor and supplies
  • Set up and break down venue following opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized bar area
  • Prep fruit garnishes, stock and put away products or discard waste
  • Provide extraordinary guest service by answering questions and assisting courteously
  • Demonstrate proper safety practices and uphold department standards
  • Balance cash drawers accurately at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with team members and management on secure cash-handling processes
  • Monitor and maintain a safe environment for team members and guests
  • Identify and de-escalate conflicts effectively
  • Maintain trust and integrity to promote a safe and welcoming environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
