The role of a Citizens Teller is pivotal within the bank’s branch operations. As a Citizens Teller, you will be the primary face of the bank’s services, greeting customers warmly in the lobbies and creating positive banking experiences. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and interpersonal skills, as you assist customers with simple transactions using mobile apps or ATMs and provide personalized financial advice. You will educate customers about the bank’s products and solutions while following strict financial policies, cash handling procedures, and regulatory compliance. Your ability to connect customers to bankers for advanced financial services will be crucial in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. The position offers a starting salary of $21 per hour and up, with a dynamic work schedule that may include weekends and evenings to meet branch needs.

Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • minimum 6 months experience processing transactions cash and/or digital payments
  • minimum 1 year demonstrated customer experience recommending and referring products and services
  • strong listening and communication skills
  • ability to ask questions and identify needs to enhance long-term customer relationships
  • ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
  • customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
  • comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals
  • ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
  • completion of a video interview assessment within 7 days of applying

Job Qualifications
