The role of Shift Leader at Cicis Pizza involves overseeing shift operations within one of these busy restaurant locations to ensure that company standards are consistently met. This position requires a hands-on leader to manage day-to-day activities, from supervising staff and training team members to ensuring that food preparation meets strict quality guidelines. The Shift Leader plays a critical role in maintaining guest satisfaction by addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively, fostering a welcoming dining environment, and promoting brand loyalty through excellent service. Key responsibilities include staff management, operational oversight, quality control, and contributing to the achievement of sales and profit goals. Given the dynamic nature of restaurant operations, the Shift Leader must be adaptable, organized, and capable of leading teams both during scheduled and unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all aspects of the restaurant including making quality products for our guests and ensuring each product meets Cicis standards and reflects the guest's order
  • professionally and promptly respond to all guest concerns or issues
  • solicit guest feedback, share feedback with team, and use feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty
  • communicate, train and promote quality standards to team members by utilizing all available tools including the Cicis Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook
  • supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels according to projected sales, properly train team members to exceed guest expectations, ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, and coach for improved performance
  • ensure team is quality and guest focused and build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun
  • contribute to sales goals by providing prompt and friendly guest service
  • building sales through team member product training and sales execution
  • contribute to overall profit goals by effectively utilizing the POS and other systems
  • execute cash management duties
  • assist in the management of inventory levels using the company's systems and guidelines to minimize waste and loss
  • manage company's assets by ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe and organized
  • complies with safety and security standards at all times
