Job Description

Cicis Pizza is a popular pizza buffet restaurant chain with over 270 locations across 22 states, known for its extensive variety of pizzas, pasta, salad bar, and desserts. Founded in 1985, Cicis has grown significantly over the years by offering affordable prices and an abundant buffet style dining experience. The company takes pride in providing a family-friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy a wide range of quality pizza options alongside a welcoming dining environment. Cicis is continuously expanding, aiming to increase its footprint by maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence across all locations.

We are currently seeking talented Shift Leaders to join our team and play a key role in the daily operations of a Cicis Pizza restaurant. The Shift Leader will be responsible for directing shift operations and ensuring that the restaurant complies with all company standards. This includes supervising team members, maintaining product quality and service excellence, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

As a Shift Leader at Cicis Pizza, you will demonstrate exemplary operational skills by ensuring that every product meets Cicis' high standards and reflects the guest's order accurately. You will handle guest concerns and feedback professionally and promptly to build strong customer loyalty. Your role will also consist of training and motivating team members using company resources such as the Cicis Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook. Leading by example, you will promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and enjoyment within the staff.

In addition, the Shift Leader contributes to the restaurant's sales and profit goals by delivering prompt and friendly guest service, performing cash management duties, and effectively operating point-of-sale (POS) systems. You will manage inventory levels to minimize waste and losses and ensure the restaurant remains clean, safe, and organized at all times. Compliance with safety and security regulations is paramount.

This position requires an individual who is at least 18 years old, reliable in transportation, and capable of working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and unscheduled shifts during emergencies. The candidate should be able to perform the duties of all positions within the restaurant confidently and lead the team during shifts without direct supervision. Bilingual candidates are preferred in certain markets to enhance communication with diverse guests and team members. This is a non-exempt, hourly position, and employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
