We are currently seeking talented Shift Leaders who will play a pivotal role in directing the operations during their shifts at one of our bustling restaurant locations. This position demands a detail-oriented, proactive individual who will ensure compliance with Cicis' high standards across all aspects of operation, including product preparation, delivery, customer relations, and general restaurant management. The Shift Leader acts as a key frontline supervisor, making sure that every product served meets our quality benchmarks and aligns perfectly with guest orders.

In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering an environment where teamwork, energy, and enthusiasm thrive, all while managing a diverse team to meet and exceed guest expectations. You will also be the point of contact for addressing guest concerns professionally and promptly, seeking feedback, and encouraging the team to use that feedback to enhance overall operational performance. Leadership here is hands-on; the Shift Leader supervises the team, manages staffing levels aligned with projected sales, enforces compliance with appearance standards, and champions continuous coaching for performance improvement.

Operational excellence extends beyond customer service; the Shift Leader also contributes directly to the restaurant’s sales and profitability goals. This includes proficient use of point of sale (POS) systems, managing cash responsibly, and vigilant inventory management to minimize waste or loss. Additionally, the Shift Leader ensures that the restaurant environment remains clean, safe, and well-organized, complying with safety and security protocols which is critical for both team members and guests.

Employment for this role is hourly and non-exempt, with work schedules that require flexibility including nights, weekends, and the capacity to respond to unscheduled emergencies. This position demands reliability, maturity, and a comprehensive understanding of all operational roles within the restaurant, ensuring seamless leadership even in the absence of direct supervision. Job Duties

  • Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all restaurant areas including product quality and guest order accuracy
  • Professionally and promptly respond to all guest concerns or issues and solicit feedback
  • Communicate, train, and promote quality standards using company resources
  • Supervise restaurant team, maintain adequate staffing according to sales projections
  • Properly train team members and ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards
  • Coach team members for improved performance and build a positive team atmosphere
  • Contribute to sales goals through guest service and team member product training
  • Utilize POS and other systems for cash management and inventory control
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, safety, and compliance with security standards
