Job Description
Learning Care is a renowned leader in early childhood education, dedicated to providing high-quality care and development opportunities for children and families. As an established childcare organization, Learning Care offers a supportive, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. The company places a strong emphasis on the wellbeing of both the children in its care and its team members, treating employees as its most valuable asset. With a network of centers dedicated to fostering young minds, Learning Care is committed to creating safe, healthy, and engaging spaces for children while supporting parents and families with trust and reliability.
At Learning Care, the core mission revolves around care—care for children, families, and team members alike. This comprehensive approach ensures a workplace culture that values balance, opportunity, and recognition, making it much more than just a job for those on the team. Employees are offered a variety of benefits such as a substantial childcare discount of at least 50 percent, immediate access to comprehensive benefits, innovative health and wellness programs, a 401(k) company match to support financial security, and much more. Flexible scheduling is a key highlight, allowing team members to find the work-life harmony they need without the pressure of night or weekend shifts. Additionally, employees can bring their children to work with them, promoting a family-friendly workplace. Paid time off further supports a balanced lifestyle.
Opportunity for professional growth is deeply ingrained in Learning Care's culture. Continuous training programs, tuition reimbursement, credential assistance, and a unique Master Teacher Program are designed to develop team members’ skills and advance their career trajectories within the childcare and education sectors. Moreover, employees enjoy a positive and fun workplace atmosphere where their contributions are recognized and appreciated regularly, contributing to high morale and engagement.
This particular role as a Housekeeping Aide at Learning Care is a pivotal position that directly impacts the health, safety, and overall experience of the children in care. Ensuring an impeccably clean, orderly, and safe environment, the Housekeeping Aide helps maintain the standards that allow children to learn and play without interruption or hazard. The role involves performing janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, emptying trash, and maintaining playgrounds and classrooms. Additionally, the aide will assist in cleaning furniture, equipment, fixtures, and refilling restroom dispensers. Part of the role also includes support with seasonal decorations, helping to create a warm and festive environment throughout the year.
Learning Care seeks individuals who are comfortable working around children, eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment, and who meet state education and facility requirements. Working here is truly a journey that offers personal and professional satisfaction and the rewarding experience of contributing to the wellbeing and development of young children.
