As a Housekeeping Aide at Learning Care Group, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the childcare center. This position is more than just a daycare job; it’s a journey dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of the children in care. Your responsibilities will focus on keeping the classrooms, playgrounds, and building clean, safe, and orderly, creating the ideal environment for children to learn and grow. You will be tasked with janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window and restroom cleaning, and emptying trash. Additionally, you will assist with cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls, as well as maintaining restrooms by refilling dispensers. You will also contribute to the vibrant atmosphere by helping put up and remove seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.
The role requires someone comfortable working around children and willing to continuously learn and grow as part of a team. You must meet state and center or school requirements related to education. Learning Care Group champions diversity and equal opportunity, ensuring no discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, or other protected statuses.
