Job Description
Join Learning Care Group, a leading childcare services provider dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children and supporting the families and communities we serve. Learning Care Group operates numerous childcare centers nationwide, focusing on creating safe, enriching environments where children can thrive. As part of our commitment to excellence, we prioritize not only the care of children but also the well-being and growth of our valued team members. We understand that our people are our greatest asset, and we strive to cultivate a workplace culture of respect, support, and opportunity.
This role is more than just a job; it's a journey within a passionate and caring community. As a Housekeeping Aide at Learning Care Group, you will be integral to the operational success of our childcare center. Your work ensures the environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming for children to learn and grow. With a focus on health and safety, you will support maintaining a hygienic and orderly facility, which is essential in providing the high-quality childcare experience our families expect.
In this position, you receive a variety of benefits designed to support your work-life balance and professional growth. Enjoy a minimum 50 percent childcare discount, immediate access to health and innovative wellness programs, a 401(k) company match, and much more. We recognize the importance of flexibility and offer schedules that accommodate your personal commitments, with no nights or weekends required. Our inclusive culture extends the possibility for you to bring your children to work and enjoy paid time off to recharge. We also invest in your future through ongoing training, tuition reimbursement, credential assistance, and our exclusive Master Teacher Program.
The Housekeeping Aide role is vital in creating an environment where children can feel secure and cared for. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety in classrooms, playgrounds, restrooms, and public areas by performing janitorial duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, and waste removal. Furthermore, you will assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls, and replenish restroom supplies. During various seasons, you will help to decorate and later remove festive displays, adding a bright and cheerful atmosphere to the learning environment.
Working with children requires comfort, patience, and a willingness to learn and grow within a team-oriented setting. We expect our team members to meet state and center-specific educational requirements, ensuring they contribute positively to our childcare community. Learning Care Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion by providing employment free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or any legally protected status.
