Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
high school diploma or GED
relevant experience working in licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen
pass required state and company background checks
comply with immunization and health and safety training requirements
able to work Monday through Friday, preferably 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

ability to plan and prepare balanced meals
strong kitchen management skills
effective inventory management
good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals
clean kitchen and comply with sanitation requirements
comply with health and safety regulations
support child safety in meal preparation environment
maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
