Job Requirements

FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 flight hours including 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine hours
at least 20 flight hours in last 12 months in similar category aircraft to the Caravan
experience in tactical aircraft or similar operation
current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
8 or more years of professional flight operations experience
2 or more years managing or performing flight test programs or aviation leadership
willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
ability to comply with U.S. export control laws
legal status documentation as a U.S or non-U.S person compatible with export controls

Job Qualifications

FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours including 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine hours
at least 20 flight hours in last 12 months in similar category aircraft to the Caravan
experience in tactical aircraft or operations requiring secondary skillset piloting
current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
8+ years of professional experience in flight operations
2+ years managing or performing flight test programs or leadership role in aviation
preferred graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school
preferred bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science or equivalent experience
preferred Caravan or PT6A experience
preferred experience with multiple aircraft types
preferred 2+ years as CFI or military flight instructor
preferred experience with automated or remotely operated vehicles
preferred experience in flight test certification programs
preferred experience in developing flight procedures, training curricula, safety management systems
preferred experience flying for 14 CFR part 135 or 121 Air Carrier
preferred knowledge of FAA certification processes
preferred knowledge of systems engineering
preferred familiarity with software programming
demonstrated ability to lead with minimal supervision

Job Duties

Serve as primary experimental test pilot
coordinate training and scheduling of contract pilots
ensure safety and success of experimental flight operations
collaborate with Part 135 airline operations to standardize pilot procedures
develop an aviation safety system
lead flight test plan development and execution
oversee flight operation compliance and documentation
