Job Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours including specific category hours
- minimum of 20 flight hours in last 12 months in aircraft similar to Caravan
- tactical aircraft or equivalent operation experience
- current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- 8+ years in professional flight operations
- 2+ years performing or managing flight test programs
- willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Job Qualifications
- FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL certificate with required flight hours
- experience in tactical or similar multi-task flight operations
- current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
- 8+ years of professional flight operations experience
- 2+ years experience in flight test program management or aviation leadership
- graduate of SETP recognized flight test school (preferred)
- bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience (preferred)
- Caravan or PT6A experience (preferred)
- experience as CFI or military flight instructor (preferred)
- experience with automated or remotely operated vehicles (preferred)
- knowledge of FAA certification processes
- familiarity with software programming principles
- demonstrated leadership capabilities
Job Duties
- Serve as primary experimental test pilot
- coordinate training and scheduling of contract pilots
- ensure safety and success of all experimental flight operations
- develop and execute flight test plans in collaboration with engineering teams
- coordinate with Part 135 airline operations for pilot procedure standardization
- contribute to the development of aviation safety systems
- manage experimental flight operations with emphasis on compliance and safety
