Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum four years of experience in one or more skilled trades
  • at least four years supervisory experience
  • knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • ability to prioritize duties and evaluate team work
  • leadership skills to guide teams in maintenance and safety
  • understanding and communication of safety codes
  • interpretation skills for technical drawings
  • problem-solving and adaptability skills
  • excellent customer service
  • ability to work with diverse teams
  • physical capability to perform maintenance tasks
  • availability for 24-hour emergency calls
  • valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • four or more years of progressive experience in skilled trades
  • four or more years of supervisory experience
  • working knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • proficient in the use of diverse tools and equipment
  • effective leadership and team management skills
  • strong understanding of safety regulations and codes
  • ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent customer service ability
  • skilled at managing multiple priorities

  • MacGyver-like resourcefulness in troubleshooting and repairs

Job Duties

  • Lead by example by providing high-quality service and hospitality
  • manage a multicultural maintenance team embracing diversity
  • assign and coordinate maintenance tasks and projects
  • ensure proper logging of time and compliance with labor laws
  • monitor associate performance and conduct evaluations
  • maintain safety practices and regulatory compliance
  • oversee repair and maintenance of building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • manage preventative maintenance schedules
  • handle maintenance emergencies on a 24-hour basis
  • communicate maintenance needs and produce detailed reports
  • maintain clean and secure tools and equipment
  • allocate work duties to team members and contractors
  • ensure grounds and structures are clean and presented
  • supervise snow removal and pool maintenance
  • collaborate with management for guest experience
  • wear appropriate uniform and follow appearance standards
  • complete all maintenance requests promptly
  • perform any additional duties requested by management
