The role of Chief Engineer at AutoCamp is a vital position responsible for overseeing all property maintenance activities including the upkeep of grounds, building facilities, and guest accommodations. This seasonal role primarily operates during the summer and requires a candidate who enjoys hands-on maintenance work, problem-solving, and leadership within a dynamic outdoor environment. The Chief Engineer ensures daily upkeep through preventative maintenance, small repairs, and managing special projects, while also collaborating closely with the General Manager to communicate larger maintenance needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum four years of experience in one or more skilled trades
- at least four years supervisory experience
- knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- ability to prioritize duties and evaluate team work
- leadership skills to guide teams in maintenance and safety
- understanding and communication of safety codes
- interpretation skills for technical drawings

Job Qualifications
