Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years culinary experience in a high volume restaurant kitchen
  • Ability to obtain or renew all government required licenses or certifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to perform duties within multiple temperature ranges

Job Duties

  • Safely prepare all food prep and food items in accordance with standard hotel recipes and specifications
  • Read, comprehend, and follow daily forecasts, menus and recipes to produce and delegate the production of food items for respective work area
  • Complete food order requisitions using a computer or pen and paper to procure necessary items for production
  • Interact with hotel guests to provide for special requests
  • Participate in activities of cooks and team members preparing, cooking and presenting food per hotel standards
  • Audit food storeroom items for quality, consistency and rotation
  • Work to control food cost and revenue
  • Follow daily sanitation, hand washing and safety codes
