Aramark is a global leader in food service, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries. The company is rooted in service and united by its purpose to do great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. Aramark emphasizes equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive environment where every employee can participate freely in all aspects of the company, without discrimination on any legally protected basis. The company culture focuses on career development, empowering professional growth, and helping individuals realize their full potential in a supportive and dynamic workplace. Whether employees seek new challenges, a sense of belonging, or simply a rewarding place to work, Aramark strives to meet those needs by providing meaningful employment opportunities and continuous growth.
The role available is a management position responsible for developing and executing innovative dining solutions that meet customer needs and preferences. This position oversees and manages dining operations where customers select and order prepared food from a menu, typically in retail and quick service settings such as cafeterias and food courts. The Manager is integral in applying Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential, ensuring individual and team objectives and client expectations are met. They maintain safety and sanitation standards in all operations, foster effective client and customer relationships, and are key to identifying client needs while communicating operational progress effectively.
Finance plays an important part in this role as well, with responsibilities including the maintenance of profit and loss statements, delivering on financial targets, and managing costs through efficient operations and strict profit management. Managers adopt company processes and systems while understanding performance metrics, data trends, and inventory orders, educating their teams on key levers to improve margins. Staff training, supervision, and adherence to operational excellence fundamentals are critical components, alongside ensuring safe and healthy environments for customers, clients, and employees.
Moreover, this management position involves assisting with the establishment and maintenance of systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food and related products while contributing to menu planning and development. They are tasked with upholding sanitation and safety requirements and supervising multiple employees, including responsibilities for hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and pay adjustments. Forecasting, accounting, inventory management, record maintenance for compliance, and coordinating activities with internal departments and external vendors all fall within this role. Ultimately, the Manager develops and implements retail services plans aimed at improving service quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction in retail food service locations.
This is a full-time position that demands strong communication skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience alongside robust retail and managerial experience is required to thrive in this challenging and rewarding role within Aramark’s dynamic environment.
