The Blender Operator role at First Quality Enterprises is an essential position within the production team focused on the blending and manufacturing of liquid soap and related hygienic products. This position involves operating mixers, pre-mixers, tanks, and other specialized blending equipment to produce high-quality liquid soap products following stringent safety and sanitation procedures. The Blender Operator carefully monitors the blending process to ensure the accurate combination of raw materials according to precise instructions and recipes.
Responsibilities include the safe handling and transfer of chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards, immediate reporting and management of chemical or other spills, and diligent adherence to sanitation programs that ensure mixers, tanks, and other equipment maintain hygienic operating conditions. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of fluid flow from storage tanks through batching equipment, as well as the ability to transfer finished products efficiently according to company protocols.
Safety is paramount in this role, and the Blender Operator must strictly follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), safety policies, and chemical handling regulations to maintain a safe working environment. The operator also performs routine tests such as pH and hardness testing on the soft water system, keeps stock levels organized, maintains salt levels in brine tanks, and operates the waste water system effectively.
In addition to technical expertise, this role involves maintaining accurate records through batch sheets, batch logs, and other documentation vital for quality control and regulatory compliance. The Blender Operator operates forklifts to move materials efficiently and is expected to troubleshoot process issues to ensure equipment functions optimally and product quality remains consistent. The position demands the ability to rework batches when necessary to reduce waste and uphold product standards.
Continuous learning is encouraged through attendance at hazardous chemical seminars and training updates. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years experience as a machine operator in a production environment
- blending or batch mixing experience preferred

Job Qualifications
