Job Requirements

  • No previous culinary experience necessary
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid Green Card
  • age between 17 and 34 years old
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • meet Army tattoo guidelines
  • no major legal violations
  • no medical concerns
  • completion of 15 nationally recognized certifications available during training
  • successfully complete Basic and Advanced Individual Training
  • achieve required ASVAB score

Job Duties

  • Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as a Culinary Specialist (92G), you’ll cook meals and work alongside chefs to prepare meals comparable to any major restaurant, so that Soldiers can sit down and enjoy a hot meal in between training or mission deployments
  • You’ll be responsible for preparing and servicing meals both in the field and at home stations, as well as ordering, inspecting food supplies, and keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary
