Job Requirements

Must have cooking experience
Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day
Must meet general health requirements of the facility
Must not pose a direct threat to others in the workplace
Must be able to safely perform job functions with or without accommodation
Willingness to work weekends
Availability for minimum 4 shifts per month

5 years cooking experience, preferred
Training available

Job Duties

Maintain in a clean and safe manner including all supplies and equipment
Adhere to the work schedule
Assist other members of the kitchen staff with meal preparation
Serve residents and their guests in a friendly, timely and courteous manner
Assist in cleaning the dining rooms following meal service
Prep materials for the next shift
Wash dishes
Assist with special events within the facility
Prepare special orders from residents and their guests
