Job Requirements

  • Weekends required
  • 22 hour availability
  • open availability preferred
  • previous kitchen experience required
  • previous senior living or dietary experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • ServSafe and/or CFPM required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed
  • knowledge of multiple cooking techniques
  • knowledge of food control and food handling processes

Job Duties

  • Prepare recipes utilizing fresh ingredients to ensure a fine dining experience for residents and guests
  • participate directly in daily kitchen operations including cooking, serving, and cleaning under the direction of the Manager of Dining Services
  • work as a team with the other kitchen staff, overlapping responsibilities to ensure exceptional service to residents and guests
  • meet organizational and regulatory expectations including sanitation, food preparation, menus, nutrition, and documentation
