Aynsley Place is a small Assisted Living Community located in Nashua, New Hampshire. The role of Chef at Aynsley Place is a crucial one, designed for those who have a genuine passion for culinary arts and wish to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through food. This is a full-time or part-time position offering an 11 am to 7 pm schedule, which translates to a more balanced work-life dynamic compared to traditional late-night culinary jobs. The full-time position covers Friday through Tuesday, while part-time options provide flexible scheduling opportunities on Fridays, Saturdays, or a Sunday through Tuesday combination.
As the Chef, you will have the freedom to express creativity in meal preparation within an assisted living setting, crafting menus that not only meet dietary needs but also delight the palate. Job Duties
- Preparing meals that are well-balanced, creative, and beautifully presented
- adhering to dietary standards and restrictions, in coordination with the facility's dietitian
- preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies and procedures
- ensuring the kitchen is maintained in a clean, safe manner and all supplies and equipment are in order
- assisting with special events within the facility
- serving residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner
