Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience preferably five years
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of all individuals in the workplace
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Adherence to the general health requirements set forth by our facility's policies

Job Duties

  • Preparing meals that are well-balanced, creative, and beautifully presented
  • Adhering to dietary standards and restrictions, in coordination with the facility's dietitian
  • Preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and our own established policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the kitchen is maintained in a clean, safe manner and all supplies and equipment are in order
  • Assisting with special events within the facility
  • Serving our residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner
