Job Description
Aynsley Place is a small assisted living community situated in Nashua, New Hampshire. This locally owned and operated establishment is committed to delivering personalized services and care to its residents. The community prides itself on fostering a warm, welcoming environment where each individual receives the attention and support they deserve. With a strong focus on quality of life and exceptional service, Aynsley Place offers a supportive setting for elderly residents, ensuring they live with dignity and comfort. The team at Aynsley Place is passionate about their work and continually strives to improve the living experience, making it more enjoyable and engaging for everyone involved.
We are currently seeking a part-time Chef to join our dedicated staff. This role offers a unique opportunity for culinary professionals who have a passion for cooking and want to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. The position provides an 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule, with a part-time option available for Sundays only. This arrangement helps promote a balanced lifestyle, taking the late-night shift pressures out of the equation. At Aynsley Place, the chef will enjoy the freedom to express creativity in the kitchen and work within a relaxed atmosphere. If you have a passion for crafting well-balanced, appealing, and nutritious meals, this is the perfect role for you. Our kitchen team enjoys a collaborative environment where culinary creativity is appreciated and nurtured, giving you the chance to produce meals that not only meet dietary standards but also brighten the day of each resident.
The role focuses on preparing meals primarily for lunch and dinner hours. You will be a vital part of a close-knit team, dedicated to serving our small assisted living community with meals that are both tasteful and health-conscious. Working in coordination with the facility’s dietitian, you will adhere to all dietary restrictions and standards to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met properly. Your work will include maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety within the kitchen, keeping the area clean and orderly, and ensuring all supplies and equipment are functional and well-maintained.
Beyond daily kitchen responsibilities, you will also participate in special event preparations and serve residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner. This role is not only about cooking but also about being a part of a community that values warmth, respect, and high-quality service. If you have prior experience in the culinary field, especially with at least five years preferred, and are eager to apply your enthusiasm and creativity in a fulfilling environment, Aynsley Place welcomes your application. Join us to trade your late-night shifts for a more balanced life, work in an atmosphere that values your passion for food, and contribute to a community dedicated to compassionate care and excellent service.
