Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years culinary experience or related field
  • Experience supervising kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • Strong understanding of food trends, quality, and presentation
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
  • Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditure monitoring
  • Assist in planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary teams
  • Supervise hourly culinary associates
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • Support ordering and inventory management
