Job Requirements
- a.s. degree or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience
- experience in high volume foodservice operations
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- proficiency with microsoft office and communication tools
- servsafe certification preferred
- ability to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
Job Qualifications
- a.s. degree or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience a plus
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
- institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficiency with computers including microsoft office, outlook, email, and internet
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- servsafe certified highly desirable
Job Duties
- assists the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- assists the executive chef with planning and creating menus
- produces and execute catering events
- rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervises hourly culinary associates
- ensures food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards are met
- participates in client satisfaction programs and activities
