Job Requirements

  • a.s. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience
  • experience in high volume foodservice operations
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • proficiency with microsoft office and communication tools
  • servsafe certification preferred
  • ability to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. degree or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience a plus
  • high volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
  • institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • proficiency with computers including microsoft office, outlook, email, and internet
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • servsafe certified highly desirable

Job Duties

  • assists the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assists the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produces and execute catering events
  • rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervises hourly culinary associates
  • ensures food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards are met
  • participates in client satisfaction programs and activities
