We are currently seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team, a role critical to maintaining the high standards of food quality and kitchen operations The Grove is known for. This position requires an individual with 2-3+ years of stable work history in kitchen management who is bilingual and has a strong proficiency in Italian, Mediterranean, and American cuisine. The ideal candidate will be someone who not only has culinary expertise but is also deeply passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience and has an active interest in food and wine. As a hands-on manager, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, including ordering food and supplies, managing inventory, scheduling staff, and ensuring training, quality, and consistency in all culinary outputs.
The Kitchen Manager will lead a team of 25+ kitchen staff, requiring excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to stay calm and professional under stress. Collaboration with front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) management teams and owners is essential to ensure seamless restaurant operations. Basic computer skills, particularly with Excel, are required to support ordering and inventory management tasks.
