Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years culinary experience
  • experience supervising kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational skills
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • understanding of food cost controls and sanitation
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
  • assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise and train kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • collaborate with staff to maintain high-quality food production and presentation
