Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
Minimum one year kitchen or restaurant experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 5:30pm

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
Current ServSafe Food Handler Card
At least one year of experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting
Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team

Job Duties

Plan and prepare foods in accordance with policies, approved dietary guidelines and recipes/menus
Plan individual cooking schedule to ensure foods for regular, therapeutic menus and special functions are properly cooked and ready at appropriate times
Follow recipes and portioning procedures for daily menu
Store and prepare food safely
Clean and inspect equipment, kitchen appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
Take inventory of supplies and equipment
Check and inspect food products and supplies as delivered
